Welcome back to another two hours of A Touch Of Pink, your show for tracks with a pop trash / gay / remix flavour. This week I’ll be playing 50% Christmas songs, so be prepared to be dazzled. The rest of the show will be similarly covered in glitter, from Alex Newell, Rupaul, Supercub etc. It should be a fun show.

My Song Of The Week is ‘Nothing For Christmas’ by RuPaul. Apart from being a timely reminder that there are many people that won’t be having a Merry Christmas (so try to be generous wherever possible), there’s also a fabulous video with some vintage footage of RuPaul.

What have we seen around town this week ?

Movie : Little Men : Touching movie about two 13 year old boys at school, becoming friends, then having that relationship interrupted by a rental dispute between their respective parents. Just a moving indie movie, but there is a lesson in it for all of us.

Movie : Golden Years : Feel good movie about some British pensioners, suffering from their depleted pensions and their club house being sold, accidentally profiting from a bank robbery and getting away with it. The continue their Robin Hood type robberies, and much hilarity ensues. Nothing too deep, but lots of slapstick and some funny lines. Good for the Mums and Dads.
