Welcome to another hour of A Touch Of Pink, your show for tracks with a pop trash / remix and an emphasis on GLBTIQ artists.

My Song Of The Week is “I trust you (like I trust myself)” by Italove. They are a 3-piece Swedish band, who love Italo Disco, and from the sound of it they are also big fans of Bobby ‘O’. They were founded in May 2012, and have an album out soon called ‘Italove The Album’. The song is a wonderful return to the great 80’s High NRG era, and the video is amazingly cheesy and camp as t*ts. I love it to death.

What I’ve seen this week …

FILM : Land Of Mine : This was a very intense movie about very young German soldiers, clearing minefields left by the German army on Danish beaches. This involved putting sticks in the sand to locate the mines then dismantling them, not always successfully. I had to leave theatre after half an hour as it all got too much for me. I returned for the last 10 minutes, so I could tell it was a well made interesting subject, but obviously not for everyone. You’ll have to make up your own mind whether you want to see this.
