What I’ve seen this week …

FILM : Beauty and The Beast : Well I loved it, and so did Mum, and Dennis was pleasantly surprised. The sets and clothing are stunning, the singing is mostly very good, and it’s brought a tear at the end. Just beautiful … everything that you could want in a Disney film.

FILM : Ghost in the shell : A remake of the anime book/film, and it looked good, but it felt unintentionally retro. Full of clunky gun fights, which seem a bit redundant in the future, and when the Spider Tank appeared I thought this couldn’t be more disappointing. I’m not really a big fan of anime, but this just seemed boring. Sorry, perhaps it’s just me.
