This week we talk about innovations and also Jules Verne who wrote about his concepts of the world in the future from his limited experience in the 19^th Century.  Then we interview a local author, Robert D. Gennari, about his recently released novel, Battle for Skeptron, set in an advanced world.

Having his birthday around this time is gay musician Holly Johnson, who in the 1980s used his music to drive gay liberation forward in the UK; he was joined with other provocative artists and songs at that time.

We celebrate the life and works of entertainer and song-writer Peter Allen born in Feb 1944, being grateful for his legacy. Another birthday occurs for Robbie Williams, and we look at some highs and lows in a great career.
