This week on another special episode, Luke, Tom, Elliot and Rachel discuss the idea of “Collector’s Edition” versions of video games.

Sometimes they include awesome action figures, sometimes a soundtrack – other times just a dumb in-game costume! So what makes special editions of video games so appealing? Do people really get a lot of value out of them, or do most of the items they get end up gathering dust in a box somewhere?

We discuss some of the successful Collector’s Editions that have come out… along with some of the less successful ones, of course! It’s all here on your favourite video game show!

About the author: Luke

Luke is the producer of Checkpoint and also co-host of The Brekkie Bears. He spends his time playing video games, binge-watching TV and hanging out with his German Shepherd, Ziggy and Bernese Mountain Dog, Pandora. They would play video games if their paws could hold controllers.
