Moonee Valley IDAHOBIT 2016 Attendee Interviews

On 19 May 2016, City of Moonee Valley hosted an event in celebration of IDAHOBIT, as a gift to the members of their community who identify as either lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ). The evening included a screening of the hugely popular documentary ‘Gayby Baby’ and speeches from special guest speakers. You can find these speeches which have also been podcasted on the JOY community highlights feed.

In this podcast, JOY’s own Jase interviews attendees to find out what they thought of the movie screening, what the definition of family is and Jase also asks why it is important for councils like Moonee Valley to promote IDAHOBIT and acknowledge our LGBTIQ community.
