The News
- Montenegro ends up getting Highway to sing in English.
- RTVE announces the six national finalists, but keeps everyone hanging with what songs they sing.
- Denmark has some Spotify leaking problems but allows us to bask in the glory of a song from Australian star Anja Nissen.
- Festivali i Këngës has finished for another year, with Eneda Tarifa taking the trophy with her song Përrallë (Fairytale), but landed in some homophobic controversy.
- The rumour mill has been running hot thanks to Greece, Ireland and Turkey, as well as Jaz’s excellent detective work piecing together Delta’s 2016 schedule.
- Loreen won ESC250 (again) and Loïc Nottet won Danse Avec Les Stars.
- Eurosong has begun in Belgium, along with the most useless voting ever known to humankind.
- Nuša is back for EMA, as is 1996’s Regina, alongside eight other hopefuls trying to get a ticket from Ljubljana to Stockholm.
- Stockholm has selected its party venues for 2016.
- Australia finally has its own Eurovision Fanclub: ESCFAN
- San Marino has ditched Ralph and Germany are trying again with a national final.
- YLE used Instagram to tease everyone with this year’s UMK entries ahead of the artist reveals on 12 January.
