Leah Senior
Courtesy Remote Control RecordsAndy and Katie from Three Chords and the Truth, JOY’s folk/blues/roots/gospel show, welcomed young Melbourne singer-songwriter Leah Senior to the studio this week.
Leah talked about her debut album, SUMMER’S ON THE GROUND, which is being launched at The Toff in Town this Thursday 26 November, and played an exquisite track from it called ‘The City Is a Stream‘ live in studio.
One listener sent in a message describing Leah’s sound as ‘sweet as cherries’.
Leah herself describes SUMMER’S ON THE GROUND as ‘a whimsical set of seasonal lullabies echoing a restless desire for transformation’.
Congratulations, Leah, on your beautiful new record, and thank you for coming in to JOY!
Check Leah out on Facebook and Twitter.
