PUCK YOU Homophobia : Mustangs Pride Game

On Saturday the 22nd July a special Ice Hockey Pride Match is happening in Melbourne. The James Melbourne Mustangs have partnered with Amnesty International to host the Australian Ice Hockey League‘s first Pride Game – and we couldn’t be more excited to see them say PUCK YOU to Homophobia.

 

 

Joined by  representatives of Ygender, Minus18, Proud 2 Play, Team Melbourne, Amnesty International Australiaand the Victoria Police Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex Liaison Officers (GLLOs), these organisations will all have stalls set up so please go and say hi and find out more about what they do and the services they offer.
The puck drop will be performed by Ro Allen, the Victorian Commissioner for Gender and Sexuality.

Dean chatted to representatives from Amnesty International and the Mustangs to fins out how this came about and what’s in store.
