Haitan-born American hip-hop artist Wyclef Jean has teamed up with Swedish producer Avicii to kick off our new music list this week. ‘Divine Sorrow’ is part of the Share the Sound of an AIDS Free Generation campaign that has been created by Coca-Cola in partnership with (RED) — the organisation founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver to involve businesses and people in the fight against AIDS. Proceeds from the single will benefit the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and will help finance grants that provide HIV prevention, testing, counselling, treatment and care services.
Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo returns with the third single from her debut album. Talking Body follows up her #11 Aussie hit collaboration with Alesso, ‘Heroes’.
British boys Take That are now a trio as Robbie Williams and Jason Orange have moved on. Their seventh studio album launches with the poptastic first single These Days.
London trio Years & Years are best known for their recent hit single, ‘Sunlight’, with The Magician. They’re following up with another pretty house vocal in time for summer.
Betty Who, the Australian expat who had that huge viral success with ‘Somebody Loves You’ last year, has released her debut album and ‘All of You’ is a great dance-pop follow-up.
Taylor Henderson at the age of 21 already has two #1 albums and two top 5 singles to his name. ‘Brighter Days’ should add to the string of successes.
