Isaiah Don’t Come Easy
(SME)
Sheppard Keep Me Crazy
(IND)
Lorde Green Light
(UMA)

Kicking off our new music this week is our latest entry into the Eurovision Song Contest. Seventeen-year-old Isaiah, winner of last year’s Australian X Factor, will be our third entrant in the competition with Don’t Come Easy, written by DNA Songs (Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci). This is the same team who wrote Dami Im’s ‘Sound of Silence’ last year, which placed second. Let’s hope Isaiah can surpass Dami’s stunning performance of last year to bring Eurovision glory to Australia.

The highly successful and popular independent Queensland-based group Sheppard are back with the first international release single from their forthcoming second album. They’re still hoping to match the success of their massive 2014 hit, ‘Geronimo’, and the new track, ‘Keep Me Crazy’, has all the potential to do so.

New Zealand-based multi-platinum Grammy-winning artist Lorde has a second studio album in the works. The first taste of that, ‘Green Light’, hits our playlist this week.

Set your alarm and tune into Michael on the Six at Six for the newest songs to the mix, every weekday at 6am Melbourne time.
