Macca (not out of state for a change) and Katie take hold of this Valentine’s edition of Saturday Magazine, with very little time devoted to the international celebration of love.

We kick off the program with a replay of a discussion on ABC Radio’s AM Program with former Prime Minister, Malcolm Fraser, discussion the treatment of Human Rights Commissioner, Gillian Triggs.  Zoe Daniel, ABC Journalist and former SE Asia correspondent shared her knowledge of the jailing of Malaysian Opposition Leader, Anwar Ibrahim on sodomy charges.

We went Eurovision mad with SBS broadcaster Julia Zemiro about Australia’s involvement with Eurovision 2015 in Vienna.

Greek and Gay is turning 20 as a new Greek government legislate for relationship recognition for LGBT Greek.s John  Tzimas joined us to explore what that all means.

Paul Culliver talked us through his podcasting experiment and what we can expect when all three new TV streaming services are up and operating, before we finally succumbed to love and had Mary Dalmau from Readers Feast in the studio sharing books about love.  Natalie Lidgerwood from Brunswick Music Festival gave us a rundown of what we can expect and some of the incredible artists taking part in the 2015 festival.

Then we had the honour of presenting JOY 94.9’s news director, Tim Lennox with a golden microphone, honouring his 20 years of service to JOY.
