Another Fallen PM

News & Politics

This week, Saturday Magazine features the twins that only their mothers could tell apart, Macca and Pete Dillon. First up a discussion about changes that we can look forward to in the marriage equality stakes.

Then Dr Andrea Carson from Melbourne University joined us to pray tribute to former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser, following his death at 84. We also discussed the use of journalists metadata and how that should be protected.

Tim Wilson from the Human Rights Commission joined us to discuss moves toward marriage equality and the handing down of the Moss Report in to the detention of refugees and asylum seekers.

Festival Director and CEO if the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Susan proven joined us in the studio to preview the 2015 festival and look back at her 20 years at the helm of one of the worlds best comedy festivals.

Matt Hale from Rising Tide Financial Services joined us to help us start preparing for tax time and Will Maynard-Smith joined us to preview the 2015 Rip Curl Pro surfing championship at Bells Beach.

A great big show with a bit of Hozier’s Take Me To Church thrown in for good measure.
