Totally On Board

This week, Pete is joined by Tas and Ian in the midst of a vote for new board members at JOY, as well as a vote of legalising marijuana.

Martin Foley, minister for everything, is asked for his thoughts on how same sex couples could now adopt legally.

Jeffery Smarter is brought in to explain why his university, Swinburne, is forming a partnership with the Midsumma Festival.

In response to a study from ANZ that suggests legalising gay marriage will boost our economy, Charelle Murphy is called on to explain why this is the case.

Bruce Byre from Lancefield addresses the current state of the bushfires up there, following the early heatwave during the week.

To start the debate for the Board of Governance, Cassie comes in to state why she is re-nominating for a role on the board, then Andrew calls in to state his case and his professional activities. Next candidate is a moist Michael, to share his extensive experience with JOY and why that should get him the vote, followed by Jim who wants to make the station more accessible. Finally, Jo comes in to push her campaign for a spot on the Board.

Aired on 10th of October, 2015.
