Sonja Hammer hosts every Thursday morning a show called The Second Breakfast, and in this podcast she talks to 3 amazing young guys who are making a film about a subject very close to each one of them, but especially to the director: Orson Dijle.

It’s actually about his own sister, who is remarkable, she has something called Selective Mutism and that means for Orson that he is the person she communicates with, almost solely the ONLY person she lets into her silent world!

‘Little Sister aims to offer the perspective of a twelve year old girl, Eslem, affected by the shortcomings of the health care system. Eslem suffers from selective mutism, a condition which has her only able to speak to four people. Eslem and her family have searched for a cure but even treatment is scarce.’

Find out about this condition and the film he and his team are creating. It will simply just move you.
