Well it’s October and the AFL and NRL seasons are over.

We talk about the NRL Grand Final where the Cronulla Sharks beat the Melbourne Storm in a close fought final.

In Rugby Union the Wallabies played the Springboks and lost and now head to Argentina.

Cricketer Max Walker passed away and we pay tribute to him.

In Motorsport Daniel Ricciardo won the Malaysian Formula 1 Grand Prix but there has been another controversy brewing.

In Basketball Penny Taylor retires after her WNBA Team the Phoenix Mercury lost.  Recently retired Lauren Jackson has announced her first pregnancy.

Skateboarding star Brian Anderson has come out.

In tennis Maria Sharapova’s suspension has been shortened from two years to 15 months.  We confirm the results of tournaments in Asia this week.

Finally we review Golf’s Ryder Cup where the USA have ended Europe’s winning run.
