It’s one of the safest blue-ribbon Liberal seats in the State of Victoria but this coming federal election will see two ‘out’ gay candidates campaigning to get your vote.  Ahead of tomorrow night’s GLOBE “Meet The Candidates for Higgins” event, Dean Beck takes a look at the electorate.

Monash University’s Political Scientist Dr Nick Economou shares his insights and former Higgins candidate Fiona Patten from the Australian Sex Party recalls her time campaigning in Higgins during the 2009 by-election.
