Cake PrEP HIV and Aging

PrEP CakeAs the community comes to terms with the PBAC decision not to approve PrEP on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, members of Melbourne’s gay community are giving thanks to the PrEPX research team.  PrEP Access Now are presenting the research team with the cake that won “The most tastiest cake” at last weekend’s Pride March Cake Bake-off, with the message “Thanks for allowing us to have our cake and eat it too!”

The informer speaks to Phill Joffee from PrEP Access Now and Associate Professor Edwina Wright from Burnet Institute who heads the PrEPX Trial.

Then, in her first report for The Informer, Anna Kelsey-Sugg reports from the symposium held last night during the International Congress of Immunology.  The forum focused on HIV and Aging and we hear from Professor Sharon Lewin, Dr Clovis Palmer and Bill O’Loughlin during Anna’s report.
