Queen of Ireland Panti Bliss on marriage equality in Australia

Panti Bliss

On tonight’s edition of The Informer we spoke with Ireland’s premier drag queen and self-proclaimed ‘accidental activist’ Panti Bliss who has just touched down in Melbourne for a string of shows at the Arts Centre.

Bliss was the poster girl for the campaign that led to a successful marriage equality referendum in the country, where it became legal almost two years ago.

We also spoke with Jay Morrison from the Community and Public Sector Union about a new guide that’s been released around LGBTI-inclusiveness and issues in the workplace.
