God save the Queen. Or in the case of the Commonwealth of Nations, god help the queens!

The Commonwealth – of which Australia is a part – contains more than half of the world’s countries that have state sponsored homophobia.

• What is preventing the removal of colonial-era sodomy laws from the laws of so many Commonwealth countries?
• Does the Commonwealth have any power – or will power – to push for LGBTI rights?
• What is the future like for queens under the Queen?

To give royal assent to LGBTI rights in the Commonwealth, we are joined in the studio by Dr Paula Gerber from Kaleidoscope Australia Human Rights Foundation.
