2016 was a big year in LGBTI rights – from battles on the floor of the United Nations, fights over marriage equality, violence and shootings, Pride marches and amazing, inspiring individuals.

We have captured a snapshot of change in LGBTI rights through the people we speak with each week on this show. This is the second part of a walk down memory lane to revisit some of the best interviews of 2016. Join us as we hear excerpts from our interviews with;

• David Grieco, Director of the film La Macchinazione (The Ploy), telling the story of outrageous and controversial Italian journalist and filmmaker, Pier Paolo Pasolini
• Tea Braun, Legal Director at Human Dignity Trust, on the regression of rights in some countries for women who have sex with women
• Darryl O’Donnell, CEO of Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations (AFAO) on the World AIDS Conference 2016 and the under-stated size of the HIV epidemic in Asia
