John Cameron Mitchell, Band of the Hand (1986)

For this edition, I am joined my guest by Pete where we look at the career of John Cameron Mitchell; an American actor, writer, DJ and director best known for his films Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001) and Shortbus (2006). This show draws on interview material, songs from his nightclub events Mattachine, some excerpts and soundtrack music from Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the Hedwig charity tribute album Wig in a Box, movie and soundtrack excerpts from Shortbus, John’s lesser known acting lead in the 1986 film Band in the Hand and some other bits and pieces.
