Welcome to A TOUCH OF PINK. This is going to be a CHRISTMAS TINSEL EXTRAVAGANZA, so keep a box of tissues handy and get ready to rock around the Christmas tree with us tonight. WHAT HAVE WE SEEN LATELY ?

Film Of A Musical : Stephen Sondheim’s “Merrily We Roll Along” : A recent addition to the CinemaLive collection at various cinemas around town, this was a London West End revival of the wonderful musical that had it’s Broadway debut in 1981. It followed 3 close friends, two composers (male) and their writer friend (female) following their career back in time from 1976 to 1957, showing how their naive enthusiasm gradually turned sour as we saw how success affected each of them in very different ways. The cast was superb, and it was good to be able to see and hear every word of Stephen Sondheim’s dense lyrics. Another fantastic event.
