Welcome to another episode of A Touch Of Pink, your one-stop shop for GLBTI pop. At last some new tracks including a wonderful EP from the Pet Shop Boys (Agenda), some exciting new artists (Philip La Rosa, Daniel Debiagi, Huguenot, Nakhane and Keiynan Lonsdale), and a couple of covers of 80’s dance hits from the 80’s from Parralox and Sheena Rose.

What Have I Seen Recently?

Film : On The Basis Of Sex : This was a real crowd pleaser, especially for the women in the audience. Based on the early life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, now a Supreme Court Justice. But this concentrated on her early days of studying to be a lawyer, marriage and kids, and her first major court case. Stirring stuff. Loved it.

Show : Merciless Gods : I was really looking forward to this, and both my husband and I hated it. It seemed to be pretentious, unrelentingly grim, and most of all, boring. But the audience burst into rapturous applause at the end, and gave it a standing ovation, so please don’t take any notice of what I have to say.
