/ Bent Notes / Arts / Reuben’s Electro-Acoustic Language – Psychedelic?

Reuben Lewis, Trumpeter, Composer and Bandleader of I HOLD THE LION’S PAW, visited the Bent Notes studio to chat with David Moyle about how he has developed his personal Electro-Acoustic language of music, and how it fits in the world of improvisation and the Psychedelic flavour of the band.

Reuben describes the philosophy of recording the band’s album ABSTRACT PLAYGROUNDS as essentially one constantly evolving improvising soundscape.

Reuben and I Hold The Lion’s Paw will be performing at the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues on Sunday November 4, 2018.

Reuben Lewis was guest of Bent Notes on Sunday October 28, 2018
