Hadley Agrez, CEO of the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, spoke with David Moyle about the approach to the Jazz Festival in light of the isolation restrictions on concerts and gathering of groups of people.
The festival are curating THREE Digital Festivals, streaming the last Saturday of May, June and July whereby Australian and International performers will be featured between midday and 10:30pm.
The program for each day will be released on the Melbourne International Jazz Festival website in the weeks leading up to each event. The June and July streams will be announced closer to each event, including consideration of whether the restrictions in place at the time may permit some audience participation.
Saturday May 30 includes performances from Kate Ceberano, Teeny Tiny Stevies, Flora Carbo, Luca Ciarla (Direct from Italy), STOCK album launch, Gretchen Parlato and Kaiit.
