Chinese pocket rocket Li Na was dominant against feisty Canadian Eugenie Bouchard yesterday, winning 6-2,6-0. After nearly losing to Lucy Safarova , Li was shocked back into form, and she’s praying for more good luck. Li will now play in her 3rd final here in Melbourne, and is hoping for her first win and to please coach Carlos.

Canadian Eugenie Bouchard may not have won, but the mighty Bouch still has her Geenie army and Justin Bieber on her side. Eugenie was excited to receive a tweet from the Biebes during her match.

Stan Wawrinka was over the moon to beat Thomas Berdych in four tough sets, and to be in his first ever Grand slam final. He feels the moment has come at the right time, as he is now mature and more ready than he’s ever been. Stan doesn’t have the best record against Rapha and Roger, but is excited about the prospect of playing his fellow countryman in an all Swiss final.

The other pocket rocket Dominika Cibulkova is on a roll, knocking out two big seeds in 2 days in Halep and Radwanska. And even she didn’t see her devastating straight sets victory coming, which sends her into her first grand slam final as well. The 20th seed knows she is short but has a lot of fire in her to get the win over Li Na. She is also the first Slovakian woman to make a final. Agnieszka Radwanska had a good run here, but was just exhausted and had nothing left to give on court in her first Aussie semi final.

The women’s final is set with Na vs Cibulkova, but who will Stan the man Stanimal play on sunday? Another epic Rapha v Roger semi tonight will decide the final spot.
