Dying to Tell: Ep 1 – Dying to Know Day with Jessie William & Hellen Callanan

Health, Kids & Family, Sexuality, Society & Culture

On the 8th of August 2017, the 5th Dying to Know Day, a national annual day of action dedicated to bringing to life conversations and community action around death and dying will be recognized here in Melbourne and across Australia with a series of events.

Here to talk with us about Dying to Know day and some of these events, we have Jessie William the Executive director of The Groundswell Project and Hellen Callanan a Doula and founder of Preparing the Way.

At Family Matters we are hoping to lay the platitudes and clichés to rest by having a frank discussion about end of life care, and then death care. Join the team with this ‘Dying To Tell’ podcast series as we ask all those difficult questions to medical and legal experts as well funeral industry professionals.
