Welcome to Game On! JOY 94.9’s Home of Sport every Wednesday from 6-7pm across summer  where you’ll hear where you can get your game on! This show is all about you and how you can get your game on by showcasing where sport is safe, inclusive, welcoming and fun for the Rainbow community!

On the show this week we are joined by Catherine Janssen, Co-Chair of the Gay Games 2030 Bid and Vice Chairperson of Pride WA to share why Perth is a Top 3 Finalist contender for the 13th Gay Games 2030! Congrats to the tea m for all your amazing work in supporting Gay Games Founder Dr Tom Waddell’s vision of  bringing together sports, culture, entertainment and LGBTQ+ activism! (Starts 2:45)

And Coach Daddy – Sam Dengate – Founder and Head Coach – TGeneration Gyms talks about what has been happening in Sam’s World. It’s a lot! The Trans-Takeover for the third time, the GAYMES, and the the upcoming Queermas Brunch on Christmas Day! T Generation, a Trans inclusive gym space is of the first its kind in Australia – a strength queer and ally generated gym community aimed at reclaiming personal agency in the gym space. What an incredible initiative! (Starts 17:10)

And there’s more! Sam Dengate is keen to see you fit, fierce and fabulous for 2025 and answers some rapid fire health and fitness questions. Awesome answers and we learn that Sam loves mangoes! (Starts 32:00)
