Gay men in Australia have a complex history with police, with the Tasty club raid, criminalisation of homosexuality, and beat entrapment very real and present subject matter in the gay zeitgeist – we invited Gabby and Dinesh, two GLLO LGBTI Liasion Officers who work closely with community and organisations to help to improve the LGBTI communities connection, faith, and trust in Victoria Police. Importantly for our show this week, they also work in the beat violence space responding to issues reported (and unreported) by men who use beats.
