Michael is joined by PrEP warrior Damon L. Jacobs, founder of PrEP Facts: Rethinking HIV Prevention and Sex – the global Facebook group dedicated to sharing evidence-based PrEP information to just on 22,000 people around the globe.

Damon, a New York City boy, was in Australia for the Navigating sex in the era of U=U and PrEP speaking tour alongside Bruce Richman from Prevention Access Campaign – founder of the U=U movement.

Damon was happy to share his insights on initiating PrEP, and his vast experience in the field of health promotion, activating other PrEP users, and debunking PrEP myths.

The PAN boys threw their first BLEW party back in December 2016, when we had Warwick on the show to talk about it. So, with PrEP on the PBS why do we need groups like PAN, and why do they need money? What do they even do with it?

There’s still LOTS to be done to make sure everyone who can benefit from PrEP has all the tools they need to get started, and we have a huge group of people the Australian health system leaves behind.
