We talk to Marnie from SHARC about the PEER group’s helpline that addresses the need for those that are affected by a loved one in addiction. Who do you turn to when your partner or brother or sister or parent is in addiction and there’s no one to take to about the guilt or shame or isolation that you’re experiencing?

Remember that this is also a difficult time of the year for many in addiction and that there are many services available such as Switchboard, Lifeline and Beyond Blue – no one needs to be alone. Take care during the Christmas and New Year period and ask for help if you need.

And don’t be alone on Christmas Day, Queerspace has a Christmas day event.
