Dual and Poly Addictions – Running away using multiple ‘Drugs of No Choice’

David identifies as an alcoholic and a drug addict in active recovery. He joins us in the studio to share his story of running away from his life problems. We hear how David ‘did a geographical’ several times and used multiple ‘drugs of no choice’: alcohol, cocaine and crystal meth. David also shares his recovery journey.

What can rock bottom look like for an ice addict? How can becoming clean and sober align with coming out about your sexuality? When discussing support options, we remind people of the first strategies we shared in an earlier episode.
