Can Eurovision improve national happiness?

We all love the Eurovision Song Contest, but does it boost the happiness quotient of an entire national population?

Alex from The Big Smoke joins Jacq and Dene to discuss research from London which found that participating in the song contest can actually result in an increase in a nation’s life satisfaction.

The data came from over 160,000 people from 33 European countries.  We look at why participating in Eurovision can change how a country feels about their future.
