/ Jacq and Dene / Arts / Interview: Two Door Cinema Club – guitarist and vocalist Sam Halliday

Internationally renown indie band Two Door Cinema Club are coming to Australia! Producer Annie chatted to Sam Halliday for Jacq and Dene on Tuesday Drive.

The band, hailing from Ireland, has a big following across the globe. They’ve played massive gigs like Glastonbury and Splendour in the Grass the last time they were in Australia. Their 2011 ‘Sleep Alone’ hit number 4 on the ARIA charts.

Sam chats about their new album, ‘False Alarm’, the acrobats in one of their music videos and how they got a rapper/comedian onto one of their tracks.

Two Door Cinema Club will be playing two shows in Melbourne on their upcoming world tour:

  • The Forum – Thursday 21 November
  • Grapevine Gathering – Saturday 21 November.

Tickets are available now via their official website.
