The Australian Government recently announced a $10 million commitment to make Medicare more inclusive for LGBTQIA+ Australians.
It aims to improve access to “inclusive, culturally safe primary care”, particularly through training and accreditation for general practitioners, nurses and other frontline health workers.
But what exactly does that mean on a practical level for patients and clinics?
