/ Laugh Out Proud / Comedy / Peter Jones

Z & G were lucky enough to have a chat in studio with Melbourne comedian Peter Jones.

Pete tells us all about how he got into stand-up, doing his first gig during a RAW Comedy heat when he was 19, then never did stand-up again for 10 years.

Z & G hear about how Pete then did a couple of gigs in New Zealand to get back into stand-up.

Pete talks about how he also started writing with a friend to better his material.

Z & G talked about Pete’s comedy heroes, to the likes of Jerry Seinfeld and Maria Bamford.

Pete and Z & G get into the RAW discussion, breaking down the heats and state finals, which leads to a discussion about how audiences differ in different cities.

Which city does Pete like the best?
