Velvet is a spectacular, sexy and sensational show that has been touring Australia and the world. Now in its third year it returns to Melbourne and two of its stars, Marcia Hines and Tom Oliver, joined Michael and Dean on Mad Wednesday on their day off and we couldn’t be happier.

 

We must admit that both Michael and Dean were giddy with excitement at the thought of having the legendary Marcia Hines in the studio. With a career that has lasted decades, she’s a goddess with such a beautiful soul and personality and hearing her talk about her craft is wonderful. What’s even better is how she shares that space with Tom Oliver, one of Australia’s brightest young talents.
