Welcome to Country Cousins on JOY, a weekly segment on MAD Wednesday where Damien Stevens-Todd takes Robbie & Dean through what’s happening for regional LGBTIQ+ people to celebrate pride, share in their community and build stronger spaces outside the big smoke.

This week we hear all about Ballarat’s Frolic Festival, taking place over the next week.

Ballarat Frolic Festival aims to foster a healthy LGBT+ community for Ballarat and surrounds while providing positive visibility to the broader Ballarat community. It is a not-for-profit festival run by a small team of Ballarat local volunteers who aim to support and show off the diversity of the region! The festival is an inclusive event that the whole community is welcome to attend.
