Midsumma – Melbourne’s queer arts & culture festival launches for 2019

Melbourne’s queer arts and culture festival, Midsumma, has officially launched their guide for 2019, so Dean invited Daniel Santangeli the Program Manager to pop by MAD Wednesday and give us a squib at the 2019 program.

Needless to say it is so exciting, especially the focus on our intersex population, Dean was so excited to hear about that! Like, really excited, it really is an amazing program.

Also did you know that there’s still time to enter the Midsumma Australia Post Art Prize? Submissions are open until 23 Nov and the art prize is open nation-wide to artists in any medium. Finalists are exhibited at No Vacancy Gallery from 22 January to 3 February 2019 as part of Midsumma Festival. Here’s how you can submit.

ALSO, you can purchase discounted tickets for shows in the festival RIGHT NOW, what a perfect Christmas present! What are you waiting for, check out the MIDSUMMA website NOW!
