Tim Lennox, JOY’s longest serving volunteer retires from the airwaves

Journalist Tim Lennox (aka Robert Lennox Suggett) joined JOY in 1995, and volunteered for the news team ever since. As our News Director he encouraged and mentored scores of JOY news presenters, including many who have gone on to full-time print and electronic media careers.

In recognition of his unbroken service, the JOY Board christened Studio 2 used primarily for news broadcasts, as the ‘Tim Lennox Studio’ in 2011.

Tim has hosted a number of JOY current affairs programs over the years and his voice is a familiar one among the many JOY news bulletins delivered each week.

We miss him already.
