Stone Motherless Cold & Astro 2019 VIC NAIDOC LGBTIQA+ Pride winners

Stone Motherless Cold and Astro were crowned the 2019 VIC NAIDOC LGBTIQA+ Pride winners at a NAIDOC/Midsumma Festival event, and they joined Dean and Robbie on MAD Wednesday to discuss pride on all levels.

NAIDOC Week is held in the first full week of July. It is a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements.

 

 

This years NAIDOC theme is:

VOICE. TREATY. TRUTH.

LET’S WORK TOGETHER FOR A SHARED FUTURE.

This theme acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have always wanted an enhanced role in decision-making in Australia’s democracy.

Stone Motherless Cold and Astro will go on to be the faces of Aboriginal Pride during Midsumma Festival 2020.
