Simon Abrahams, the artistic director of the Melbourne Fringe Festival stopped by MAD Wednesday to share his excitement about the program.

Now that the program has launched, we are so excited by the LGBTQIA+ content, bursting at the sequined seams!  This year’s festival also features an increased number of trans and gender diverse artists.

Taking place in venues around Melbourne and beyond from the 12th – 29th of September, there’s over 455 boundary-pushing events from 2,718 participating artists across 140 venues, including the exciting new home of the Fringe Hub, Trades Hall.
