Katie’s guest in the second hour of today’s show is Nicole Skeltys, an Australian artist living in London who has returned to Melbourne for a gig at the Northcote Social Club. Nicole was one half of the seminal 90s electro-femme duo B(if)tek, and for the past ten years she has been performing and releasing folk/psychedelic/alt-country music. She and Katie chat about Nicole’s love of Bob Dylan, the challenges of living and working in London, the importance of Melbourne’s community radio stations for independent musicians, her 2018 album Deal With Your Disenchantment, her strong links with LGBTIQ communities, and more.
