A Big Gay Week

lai

The world is picking up the left over pieces of glitter from all the fabulousness from the last week. First of all, the ARIAS went all out for the rainbow community, starting with our good friends the Veronica’s performing semi-nude, covered in delicious glitter. Sia won an award, and had Emily Greene from Stand Up Events accepting her award. Kylie Minogue stepped out with her delicious beau in their matching Say I Do Down Under t-shirts.  Troy Sivan dedicated his win to every GLBTIQ kid who wants to make music. And Ellen deGeneres was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Obama. Though she nearly didn’t get let in the building.

We are joined in the studio this week by Lainie Chait, comedienne and author of the soon to be released, self penned book titled Electro Girl. Lainie tells us about her journey with epilepsy, and how she eventually was able to come to terms with it. From hiding it as a youngster, and feeling she needed to hide it, she details her journey to acceptance and shares her own theories based on her own experiences. The book launches Dec 1st, so stay tuned for details on where to pick up a copy.

See you next week!
