With so much new music, let’s get right into it.

It’s officially Rita Ora week, with two new releases to radio. The British singer has dropped ‘Anywhere’ as a follow-up to her double-platinum-selling hit ‘Your Song’. It’s also come just in time for her big gig hosting the MTV European Music Awards in London next month. Not resting on her laurels, she’s teamed up with Avicii for a dance thumper in ‘Lonely Together’. Keep watch on these two, because we’re predicting big things for them both. There’s no reason why Rita shouldn’t have two songs in the top 10 in the coming weeks.

The roughest of the One Direction boys, Liam Payne, has delivered the goods in his second solo single. You will only need to listen to ‘Bedroom Floor’ a couple of times to be repeating that But your clothes say different on my bedroom floor hook over and over again. What a pile of clothes on Liam’s bedroom floor would be saying is anyone’s guess, but we won’t be complaining about the thought.

News of Peking Duk‘s four ARIA nominations – for Best Dance Release, Best Group, Best Live Act and Apple Music Song of the Year – has had the music industry flapping their wings, waiting for the follow-up to the platinum-selling ‘Fake Magic’. The Canberra-based duo has enlisted the support of Swedish duo Icona Pop to give you ‘Let You Down’. This one features the vocals of one half of the Duk, Adam Hyde, for the very first time, and is a guaranteed toe-tapper.

Many Australians do very well overseas – VASSY is one of them. She is from the tropical north but is now based in LA, writing for American TV, film and advertisers. Her latest sees her working with Dutch DJ Afrojack and Filipino-Spanish singer Oliver Rosa for ‘Lost’. We think you’ll get lost in the sound of the piano as you let VASSY take you on a journey, but you’ll find your way back just like the mystery man does in the song’s video.

Australia’s Eurovision fifth-placer, Guy Sebastian, releases his new album, Conscious, on 3 November. In the meantime, he’s sharing ‘Bloodstone’, which was written as a result of a time when his relationship with his wife, Jules, nearly ended. We’ve all had those moments in life, and this song will tug at the heartstrings.

Out-and-proud Melburnian Peter Wilson has just released a double A-side single in preparation for his new album Overdrive. ‘Anxiety’ has been produced and co-written by Parralox, aka JOY’s very own John von-Ahlen. Sometimes we need to dip into our 80s synth past, and this is one of those times. Grab the fluoros and join the fun.

Dr. Shiver is an Italian DJ and producer who started making music in 1999. He’s the man behind ‘Catch Me‘, which was one of the biggest songs in Melodi Grand Prix in 2013 (Norway’s Eurovision Song Contest selection show), and the person responsible for getting ‘Mama Lover‘ across Europe. Vocalist Kazi has joined the party for the new single, ‘Something’. It certainly is something, and we reckon you’ll be unable to help yourself when your feet start moving and your hips start swaying.

And rounding out the additions for the week is the inclusion of Tiësto’s remix of P!NK‘s smash hit ‘What About Us’. It’ll be the perfect pick-me-up as your workday begins to come to an end.
