Get ready to belt out a tune, dance like crazy and throw your hands in the air with the newest to Melbourne’s most uplifting music mix this week.

She’s back! It’s been eight long years since Swedish singer Robyn last dropped a disco gem. Many people in our communities grew up singing along and dancing to her magical songs of mourning and yearning, while arguments about the best version of Dancing on My Own still abound. ‘Missing U’ marks her comeback, with the Swede unable to deal with life without her lover, set to a synthy Robyn-esque beat. Apparently a new album is also on its way, and we cannot wait to hear what that might be like!

Aussie singer-songwriter Chloe Pandrea has been around for a while, originally making a name for herself on The X Factor in 2014. Now known as CXLOE, she’s been in sunny LA doing a touch of songwriting with Sam Farrar from Maroon 5. ‘Show You’ is the result of that collaboration, and it deserves to be big. Make sure you turn this Sydneysider up loud!

Today’s Italian teenagers aren’t exactly known as hitmakers, so 16-year-old producer Samuel Gori is one of a kind. Going by his stage name Danko, the teen prodigy started playing piano when he was six and DJing in clubs when he was 15. His newest track, ‘Hit Me Up’, bounces from start to finish, combining French and Spanish with a catchy chorus and a handful of ‘heys’. We reckon this’ll grow on you.

Gryffin is American DJ, producer and musician Dan Griffith. His remixes of Talking Body and Desire delivered him a wave of fans and led to massive support for his last release, Just for a Moment. Dan’s teamed up with Elley Duhé (who you might remember from her collaboration with Zedd) for some EDM-pop in Tie Me Down, which is perfectly suited for a tap of the toes under your desk at work.

Hailing from LA, Jaki Nelson has seen success with her multiple Billboard top 10 singles and work in some very illustrious clubs. ‘Dancing With Strangers’ has the bi singer-songwriter writing and producing with one of our favourites, Dave Audé. Giving the track some extra club pizzazz are Swedish duo StoneBridge and Damien Hall, and we think you’ll be wanting to find a stranger to enjoy this with.

‘Growing Pains’ is the first single from Alessia Cara‘s forthcoming second studio album and the follow-up single to ‘Stay’, which peaked at #3 in Australia. The Canadian singer has had her music streamed over seven billion times around the world, and by the sounds of things, that number’s bound to keep growing.
