New music to weekdays (19 September 2018)

New music additions

Brynny Don’t Say You Love Me (TEAMWRK)
JRAFFE California (CSR / UMA)
MK, Jonas Blue & Becky Hill Back & Forth (SME)
Klingande & Broken Back Wonders (LIB / ULTRA)

The sun’s out and we’re celebrating it with these new additions to Melbourne’s most uplifting music mix.

Originally from the Mornington Peninsula, Brynny made a name for himself bringing the Melbourne Bounce electro-house style to the city’s clubs. Fast-forward a few years and the youngster has been to Ireland, hit the big time with his bootleg of Paul McCartney’s ‘FourFiveSeconds’ and made a small change to his sound. ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ was written after a few days of Melbourne’s sunshine, and we can’t complain about its bright sound. It has a hook that seems familiar but it’s also fresh and breezy like a spring day. We reckon you’ll love it.

It’s all a bit of a mystery in California with JRAFFE‘s debut single. We know they’re a trio of artists from London and LA who have worked with some musical superstars – Felix Jaehn, Hardwell, Nicky Romero and Bob Sinclar, to name a few. We also know that Jay loves his pink giraffe head. That all comes together in California, where sunny hooks, punchy beats and a catchy chorus will have you wishing you were at a Cali pool party. Find your long-necked mate and a place beside the pool to fully enjoy this hit.

American producer Marc Kinchen, aka MK, is one of house music’s legends. He’s teamed up with English singer Becky Hill and DJ Jonas Blue to create the newest house track to hit the dance floor. ‘Back & Forth’ has everything you need for a good boogie – big vocals, keys for days and a beat to double- and triple-step to no matter what time it is. The last time MK and Becky Hill got together, their song attracted over 50 million streams. This one should do just as well.

You might remember Klingande from his 2013 hit Jubel, which peaked at #3 in Australia. The French DJ is back with a brand-new song to bring a touch of the tropics to your day. Cédric Steinmyller joins fellow Frenchman Jérôme Fagnet, aka Broken Back, for ‘Wonders’. This is the type of song that’s made for long summer days when you’re at the beach with friends, have a beach ball and are spending too much time admiring the volleyball players. Find your drums and join in.
