Melbourne’s own ALIUS has been making musical waves over the last 12 months, after his release Caught Up landed on commercial radio. We’ve loved this out-and-proud local lad since the Bec & Sebastian days, and it brings us joy to hear his new music. Featuring Adelaide-based singer Sarah Saint James, ‘Lose to You’ is jam-packed with big beats and percussion to finger dance to while you’re stuck at your computer.

Back in 1990, Whitney Houston released the album I’m Your Baby Tonight with a special addition for her Japanese fans: she covered Steve Winwood’s 1986 smash ‘Higher Love’ as a bonus track. Now, seven years after her death and ten years since her last release, that bonus track has been resurrected by Norwegian producer Kygo. With so much goodness going on, how could we not add this one?

As Pride Month wraps up, bisexual DJ-producer Felix Jaehn drops a deeply personal single. ‘Love on Myself’ was written by the German after he found the strength to sing about his feelings and the struggles of being himself. Felix features the vocals of out-and-proud singer-songwriter Calum Scott in this bop, which has a touch of house about it. We reckon you’ll find lots to love here.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have teamed up for a second time, landing themselves a #2 spot on the Australian chart on debut. Their newest collab, ‘Señorita’, channels the Latin vibes that have been taking over the charts and turns the sexy up to high. What better way to bring some spice to your weekday?

The countdown continues towards Ed Sheeran releasing his No 6 Collaborations Project on 12 July. The third collab from the album sees the Brit team up with Khalid for ‘Beautiful People’. It’s bound to be another smash for one of the world’s favourite redheads, and we think you’ll enjoy the sound.

What do you get when you mix piano, smooth vocals and a thumping house beat? The newest from British DJ-producer Henry Hacking featuring Effs. Forget your morning coffee – ‘Higher’ is the explosion of energy you need to get your day going.

And to bring a spark of energy to the afternoon, you’ll hear the Alphalove remix of ‘Think of Me’ from Aussie sisters The Veronicas.
