Yorke has been writing songs since the age of 10. All this creativity culminated in the release this year of her debut album, Liberosis, which landed the Byron Bay singer a multitude of praises. She’s just released ‘Gravity’, a “love story between an alien and a human who are struggling to exist in each other’s orbit”. This song will take you to the stars with its pulsating rhythms, catchy chorus and sonic explosions.

Boy band The Vamps have been quite successful around the world, particularly in their native Britain. They’ve achieved platinum status with eight Top 40 hits and six sold-out world tours since they formed in 2012. The boys’ fourth studio album, Cherry Blossom, is due on 16 October, but we’re being treated to a taste of it with ‘Married in Vegas’. The new single gives us the pop-rock sound that we love hearing from Bradley, James, Connor and Tristan, along with some funky keys and a riff that will play on repeat in your head.

The British girls are also getting a go, with the newest from Little Mix making the list this week. ‘Holiday’ is the latest release from the four-member group’s forthcoming sixth album and continues the musical story begun by Break Up Song. A combination of an 80s-esque bridge, the confidence of 2000s pop and a flurry of backing vocals make this one a bop that we think you’ll be appreciating.

COVID has changed many things in our lives, but it’s also taken us back to thinking about better times. British band Clean Bandit has gone back to 2014 and 1997 to put a smile on your face with a big anthemic mashup. The band’s 2014 Australian #13 bop gets thrown in with Dario G‘s 1997 hit to create ‘Real Love x Sunchyme (VIP Mashup)’. You’ll get to enjoy the vocals from queer British singer Jess Glynne too. If you need a smile on your face, we reckon this will put one there.

Back in the day, we’d wait until the wee hours of the morning before the party really started, but with Melburnians now at home, we have to find new ways to enjoy our late nights. American DJ-producer MK wants to get you dancing in your lounge room with his newest, ‘2AM’. He’s teamed up again with British singer-songwriter Carla Monroe for this house banger, and we hope it is just as successful as their last collab, 17.

Auckland-born, Sydney-based ETHAN has just dropped something new. The out-and-proud singer-songwriter is due to release his second EP later this year, and its lead single is ”Til Morning’, a track about what goes on late at night. It’s a piece of moody pop crossed with RnB, and delivers the feels in spades. We reckon you’ll be grooving along.
